The Kidz Codestick is an external device containing a complete set of courses on specific technical skillsets. These courses were developed by iCourse Training and 1337 Institute of Technology, both Connecticut based companies. The content is currently sold as downloadable courses internationally across North America and Europe through e-commerce marketplaces like Groupon and StackCommerce.

The device was created by a maverick computer science professor and entrepreneur. The Kids Codestick was designed as an external device because so many parents want their children to learn technical skills but fear the Web’s influence.
